Consent Management Platform

Consent Management Platform is needed to deliver ads. We can work with all CMP which are provide at least TCF 2.0

Allowed characters

In order to secure compatibility with all systems connected we recommend for all ATF-tags  to use only:

  • lowercase alphanumeric characters (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,r,s,t,u,w,x,y,z,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)

  • ‘-’ (minus)

  • ‘_’ (underscore)

We recommend to use only lowercases as some 3rd party systems might be case sensitive.

Note: German special characters (umlaute and scharfes S ) need to be written with Latin characters:

  • ä = ae

  • ö = oe

  • ü = ue

  • ß = ss

There are different characters allowed at different parts of the system (ATF SDK, Prebid, GAM), but the recommended configuration is supported by all of them.

KeyValue limitations

  • All letters must be written in lower case

  • Alphanumeric strings are allowed

  • Write out umlauts (ae, oe, etc.)

  • Replace spaces with " - ".

  • letter length per key : 20

  • letter length per value : 40

Needed standard key-values

Please pass the following KeyValue always as custom key-values. For details please refer to topic Passing custom key-values to GAM

  • key=adkeyword value=<is used for special targeting on certain pages campaigning and publisher will defined it individually>

  • key=pageid value=<unique page id>

  • key=themencluster value=<topic or cluster from article if available>
    possible cluster: vegan, vegetarisch, nachhaltigkeit, haare, schwangerschaft, reisen, ernaehrung, sport, baby, innovation, datenschutz, schmuck, uhren

  • Key=subchannel value=<pass subchannel when available>
