Slot refresh tab

Slot refresh tab

  1. Toggle to turn on/off the Slot refresh feature

  2. List of Order IDs:

    1. Global Order IDs (set in Global settings) are imported into the list and cannot be deleted

    2. Publisher Order IDs (set in this tab) can be added and removed (example: the last ID 1111111111 which is marked by a “x”)

  3. Refresh timeout - time period before ad is eligible for refreshing

  4. Refresh interval - ATF SDK checks for ads that are eligible for refreshing every interval

  5. Slot Refresh version:

    1. version 1 - if ad slot was in viewport, counter was activated and slot will be refreshed once after defined time. But note: On the Lifestyle sites the slots were refreshed every time they came in viewport!

    2. version 2 - if ad slot was in viewport, counter was activated, when defined time expires, slot needs to be in viewport to be refreshed

Checking slot-refresh

If you are unsure whether a order is refreshable or not you can check this with the ATF-Debug console (description: https://adtechfactory.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ADAI/pages/2162819100 ) In the exampe below in the vertical slot was rendered an I/O campaigne.

The Slot Refresh doesn´t work in the following cases:

  1. Direct Campaigns (I/O)

  2. Programmatic Guaranteed Deals

  3. all Order IDs which are not noticed in the ATF-Manager as a refreshable Order

Point 1 and 2 were a requirement when we designed this function because of higher CPM and higher quality (e.g. Festplatzierungen, Native-Article and Advertorials).

The priority doesn´t matter if an order is refreshable or not.
