BCN requests that the BVDW and IAB guidelines be observed when delivering HTML advertising materials. BCN only checks browser compatibility on a random basis. Redirects as script-tags are permitted. However, there is a greater risk of collisions with the page with script-tags compared to iFrame-tags. This is especially the case with improper or careless implementation of HTML ad code. Such collisions can be avoided by technical measures such as namespaces, prefixes or encapsulation by iFrame. BCN therefore reserves the right to insist on the delivery of redirects as iFrame-tags in individual cases. |
